Giving Back – The Black Mambas
Because of the drinks ability to help the body in so many ways, I want to get it into the hands of as many people as possible. Myself, my family and friends have all benefitted from an improved immune system by drinking our Kombucha and I now have old and new customers regularly telling me the different ways of how it has positively helped their lives. It is our plan to see PJ Kombucha grow and in doing this, we can help more and more people know and understand the benefits.
After seeing so many different countries, cultures and environments, I know how important it is to be responsible for your impact on the environment, the world and it’s communities. I want us to grow ethically, being conscious of our social and environmental impact both in the UK and abroad. This is our mission.
I do think that we can make a difference in this world and it is my hope that with PJ Kombucha, I can help people live healthier, fuller lives while being conscious of our environmental and social impacts. Each bottle you purchase donates X to the Black Mambas, a predominantly female UN award-winning anti-poaching unit in South Africa. You can read more about our charity by clicking here.
About our Social Enterprise
We chose The Black Mambas as they are much more than just an anti-poaching unit. Whilst their main objective is the security of the reserve and the protection of wildlife, they also strive to create a strong bond and educate the communities that live on the boundaries of Balule and the Greater Kruger Park to the benefits of saving their natural heritage. It is their belief that the ‘war’ on poaching will not be won with guns and bullets but through social upliftment and the education of local communities surrounding the reserves.
The Black Mambas have been featured in The Telegraph, The Guardian, Time Magazine, ITV, and Huffington Post to name a few. Each bottle of PJ Kombucha that you drink donates to this amazing cause, helping us to give back even more.
